Like i was wondering. Which IFsupport people do codes? You see i requested a Code but no one who works on Ifsupport has checked it, Do you guys check them? Or you don't make them becuase there is already a code for the request?

Any body who can will try to make something if they feel they can do it.

If they can't they often ignore the thread to save on members spamming "i can't do that"

Staff don't formally check or fill them. I ocassionally moderate the forum and thus check the topic but I don't do codes. As far as I know, only Stefan and James do them. Seth probably could too, and Merc, but they're lazy great. :P

You'll probably find that the members who code will do the request but sometimes codes are hard to do and as such not all requests are done. :/ Part of the reason we don't put any guarantee.

I wouldn't do that. I know most people ignore PMs about support so PMs about code requests will probably also be ignored. :ermm:

If you're referring to your intro request the problem might be the fact such a thing would kill your board, I'd assume it would take up a loooooooooot of space. You'd probably need an actual website to do such a thing.

I also check the Code Requests forum, but I'm not a coder, so I can only help with minor things, or by pointing it out when the code already exists or I know it can't be done.

If your request has gone for a long time without being filled, chances are it either can't be done, would take too much work, you haven't given a detailed enough or coherent enough explanation, or all the coders are busy.

Also, the fact that people seem to be cluttering up that forum by being lazy and posting requests without bothering to first look through the Code Index and the Code Snippets forum for something that would work is probably causing a lot of coders to just avoid that forum, and more topics with fewer coders isn't good for efficiency.
