 I have a 800x600 resolution and I hate it. However, when I try and change it to something like 1024x768, my desktop bar goes tiny and I can hardly see it. Does anyone know how to change it without making the desk bar smaller? :$

 Heh..

When you increase your resolution, you are actually increasing the the number of pixels on the screen.
Hence, if you have a 15" (or less!) monitor anytning other than 800x600 will look crappy. Sorry, but thats just how it is.
You should move up to a least a 17" monitor..
