Google ads and row 4 image backgrounds!; Att: IF admins

To the IF admins,

I have no problem with the new positioning of the Google ads, but am pissed off that the new ad colour blending doesn't seem to work for those of us with image backgrounds in row 4.

I have 3 boards all with image backgrounds and the ad background appears WHITE on all of them.

When the pages are loading the background image shows up for a couple of seconds then turns white.

I understand we are supposed to open a support ticket if we have this problem, but surely a high percentage of people using IF have image backgrounds and are experiencing the same problem.

My question, before I open a support ticket is, are you going to manually try and fix the problem for every board with image backgrounds one by one, as they open support tickets?

This will take an etirnity IMO as there would be tens of thousands who use image backgrounds.

To sum up, is there a way (a fix it code of sorts) to solve this blending problem ourselves WITHOUT changing our row 4 backgrounds to HEX colours?

If not, how long is the wait for IF staff to get around to everyone who is having this problem.

regards

JJ

All you need to do is change the background color behind the image on row4. You can have both a background color there and an image on top.

You should be specifying a background color that matches well anyway since some users do not use images, the images may load slowly, or the images may not load at all.

Thanks for the tips guys. I wasn't aware that we could have both an image and a hex colour as a background in the same frame.

I want the whole of the advert to be the same colour as the gray on the background of the whole page.
