 I Have Been Waiting 3 Days For My Forum Password To Be Sorted, After My Msn AND Forum Password Changed At The Same Time I Cannot Get My Password Back. By This Time Nothing Would Be Left Of My Forum If It HAD Been Stoeln The Board Would no Longer Exsist. I Think You Should Make Faster Approches To These Sort Of Things and Ignore Silly Messages Until These Are Delt with.

Ignore Silly Messages

I think you have no right to decide what are and aren't 'silly messages', he doesn't deal with 'silly messages' but people with serious problems similar to your own. In fact it is the support staff who deal with 'silly messages' and basic help. DuffMan has to deal with lots of restorations on top of Reports alongside a whole host of other things. You're not the only one requiring his help and he is only one man, patience is required.

 When I Say Silly Messages I Mean Ones That Are not As Important, And I Think then If Thats the Case He Needs More Help... Too Many People Lose Their Forum Because Of These People And Time Is not On Their side.

 Again, DuffMan deals with things that only he can deal with which are by no means silly. :/ Anything that can be sorted out easily, or without his help, is dealt with by a member of our Global Support Team or an Administrator.

 Actually, if this is truth, that IF is so secure that can be only h4x00red by careless password handling,
you should be happy there is even a possibility, a chance your board access will be restored. Most of
admins of various services, especially free services, including myself are either punishing users for their
stupidity when they will forget their password or let their account be compromised or simply delete
compromised account. So if Duffman will give you your access back even after three months of you
waiting, and he will during this time do nothing else than browse sites with T-shirts, computers games
and kittens it is still his courtesy restoring the access lost from inproper password handling unless you
paid him for doing so.

 o.o hmm I dont really think you should be complaining Invsionfree offers the chance at recovery where most services dont or you have to make your own and hope your Server admin will be half as kind as Duffman or hope that they wont be charging you $$.... All that said if you do ASK Duffman for support you will get it if you have the patience. If you don't I suggest moving to a server with alot less traffic and taking your chances that if something like this happened again you'd even get a reply. =)

 Hmm, let's see...

Wait 3+ days, get free recovery.

OR

Wait an hour for an automated message, get charged 50 bucks for nothing.

I'd take the first one.


And, also, there are a whole bunch of people out there with carelessly put-together passwords that are coming to Duff with support tickets saying that their boards got 'hacked'. Just me, but I would consider those the "silly messages".


Just my opinion. :/
