I can already here the silence in this post....but I really want to get a job teaching ESL abroad...its like.. my dream for the summer..has anyone ever done it? do you know where I can find some good places? I 've already googled and applied to some sketchy places :lol: ..that's why i need a better guide.

Oh and if anyone can find me a job in France.. I'll give you a $50 out of my 3rd paycheck there (i'm 100% serious...think about it..$50 is like ad-free forums for a good couple of months)

..and i mean $50 in canadian though..so actually...that'd be like...mmm about $40 american....on a good day :P

I know several people currently teaching English as a second language abroad, though I don't have any way of contacting them. :/
But they're digging it.
And making bank as well.
One is in Japan, and figuring on making enough to pay back all his 5 years of student loans in roughly 2 years. :blink:
I think one of my ex's is doing it even.
I'd suggest going through your college advisor if you have one, or if you don't, somebody on the staff of your local college should be able to help you find reputable contacts and good info. :)

good idea on the advisor thing... 5 years in university and i keep forgetting to use those people >_<

... So I'm guessing all your friends have degrees huh? ...yeah most require that :P
