Trillian Trouble, please help.

 I attempted to install a new skin not knowing what i was doing... <_< >_< and it did not work.

And i have added people to buddy lists, but nothing else...

 Try the following

open up your trillian progam folder, (normall c:\Program files\Trillian\) and goto the users\default folder (assuming you only use one trillian profile)

Edit the trillian.ini file

you should see something like this

skin=C:\Program Files\Trillian\skins\Whistler\
First Time=yes


Make sure that the end of that line where it sets the skin says "Whistler" (as it does above), save, and reload trillian - this will reset it back to using the default skin.

If it's something other than a skin problem, you'll still get the error.

DO NOT just go and start deleting random files, you may delete something important




Copious spelling errors fixed so as not to confuse the poor kid - might want to try out that preview button occasionally :r

 I had this problem a few days ago(like 4 days), and I uninstalled Trillian. :$ >_<

I lost my kinda important group(I put the people back in), my ICQ number(which I can register again), and my Y!, AIM, and MSN(I entered those back in). :/ :)
