I waited to see if anyone else would make this topic, but it appears no-one else did, so I am... :eh:

Well anyway, Labour won (again), and Howard has resigned, what are your thoughts on this?

Also what did you vote? (If you want to say. :r)

:arr:

You U.S.A. lot can look bemused now... Unless you follow that link, or know about British politics...

Lol bal.

I think the Lib Dems did quite well, obv. the Tories were hopeless and just lost, and Labour lost their huge majority...so, all in all, the whole thing was pointless.

How dya get text that tiny? Sorry for OT but I can never get it small :P

And yeah, it would have been VERY not good if Labour had done as well/better than last time.

Try text size -6/-7 (-6 is better for Firefox; -7 is better for IE).

Why didn't everyone just go and vote for Veritas! (No I'm really not serious, I would rather shoot myself then support Kilroy-Silk) :eh:

If i was properly informed, i would have probably voted conservative. I almost did, but decided against voting this time around.

Oh, i was also hungover and needed to catch a train...

It's odd but as much as I dislike Tony and generally Labour, I'm rather glad the Tories didn't get in though I have to say their higher rating this time is quite an achievement. Michael Howard scares me. :eh: Not the best grounds to vote on but I'd rather not have a morbid corpse for a PM.

On the plus side, Tony won't be around for long, on the down side it looks like Brown will most likely become his successor...now that's just scary. He's as bad as Howards; scares children and tends to look like he's sleeping or about to. I often wonder if he's actually thinking about the matters at hand or wondering if he left the gas on when he's at a conference. :ermm: He has that look about him. :P Maybe after this somewhat humiliating election, Tony'll actually work towards governing the country rather than ruining another one or kissing up to Bush. :w00t:

*shrugs* I generally dislike the main parties and I usually vote for one of the smaller ones, didn't vote this time around though. No real excuse for it, just couldn't be bothered. :/ And I was plotting Blair's assassination...:shifty:

Bleh, having a Dracula as a Prime Minister would have been awesome though... (Michael Howard is from Transylvanyia [or however the bejeebus it is spelt :)])

:console:
Well, if it's any consolation we'll soon have Frankenstein. :P I can't help but be curious as to how Brown would run the country...free beer and sweets? Can't be much worse than now...well, it could if Thatcher was back. >_<

I wonder if Blair will actually step down or if it's just a tease for Brown. Heh, imagine if Blunket, or however the heck his name is spelled, became Prime Minister.

Lol, Blunkett would be funny. Ever seen Dead Ringers with Blunkett and the space station? If not, I'll annoy you by saying no more about it. If so, what are the odds of that happening?

And if Brown gets in, there'll be a National Pie Day.

I'm glad Tories didn't win. If they had, god knows what would become of Scotland, most likely no Scottish parilment.
Didn't want Labour in either, but a hung parliment with Lib Dems would have been better.
