Edinburgh ;)

I did it for a week, and then dropped out for medical reasons.

A lot of my friends did it. Basically, you have to do a certain amount of skills (in hours), community service, and hikes.

There are 3 levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

I wondered how it was spelt, guess me and Dave19490 were both wrong :P

No, I did not edit my post to change my stupid spelling mistake

Sounds interesting. Definately not something i'd want to do though, i'd imagine

Hi there, i am doing my silver this year

for those not sure what it is:

(bronze/silver and gold respectably)

  • A 15/30/50 mile walk
  • 3/6/12 months of public service
  • 3/6/12 of a physical activity
  • 3/6/12 months of a skills based activity

I can tell you it is very hard, my heart goes out to anyone mad enough!

My bronze was a killer

A couple of my friends got the Gold award. A few others fell out during the Gold hike. It was pretty hard.
