You can't make a game like Runescape in JS. You could in Java, but you can't in JS. |

A text-RPG like DarkThrone is good in Js, but Rs is meant for Java. or get flash and make an RPG like FF9/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1/x/x-2. |

Yes, Java is free. You will be needing a Compiler. http://java.sun.com/j2se/ You can get one there. |

Yes Java can work in Notepad or Wordpad, just make sure when saving, you select "all file types" and add .java to the ending.
You could compile using Command Prompt once you have the J2SE installed. You have to go to the .java directory, then type "javac project1name.java" and it should compile. That should create the .class file, then to run it, you have to be in the proper directory of the .java/.class file and type "java project1" and it'll run. |

ok flash out of the question now wut i really want to know is that do i have to download anything for java or can i just put all the files in notepad and save as .java |

ok thanks but im not sure i have the right java all thats there i got from th link someone gave me it was like j2se 5.0 or anyhting and i dont get itso can someone show me the link to the compiler |
