cool... but it's too organized for me :P

... I 'll probably end up loosing something once it's nicely tucked away... I like my desktops messy with scattered icons... I basically save EVERYTHING to my desktop.

You are sick.

Desktops are workspace, and should be kept empty, or at least clean.
Toolbars and sidebars are where you should put all your stuff.
You don't keep all your pencils, pens, scissors, and everything else underneath all your drawings, writings, and whatever, do you?
If so, you should consider new medication.

AUGH! I just took forever to get out of that stupid thing to get back to normal. It's just too unfamiliar and less convinient for me.

It does take a little getting used to, just as anything does.
Do something as simple as dragging your taskbar to the side or the top if it's normally on the bottom and see what happens.
It took you awhile to get used to what you now call "normal" as well, but just because it's familiar doesn't mean it's better.

I do that.

So my writings and propaganda are under a paperwieght, which is under a box of pizza, and my mouse, remote, pencils and pizza, are underneath the writings.

i dont know about that shell. it doesnt do it for me. to big and bulbous and too pretty and most likely resource intensive as well.

u should look up litestep or blackbox for windows. i have seen a few litestep shell skins and my buddy uses blackbox and they seem to be pretty nice. less bulbous and overly windows pretty ness. i stick with explorer with Windowblinds themer.

u can always try YZdock or stardock objectbar(i think this is what it is called) for some desktop clean up
