Ah, I've had this trojan. Cleaned it with McAfee. Best thing to do, is download McAfee Virus Scan Profffessional, and scan your files. It dletes or quarinines any file without warning. |

Gotta be kidding. MCAFEE SUCKS. Get Kaspersky. Has the highest virus/trojan detection rate: 98.6% And it doesn't hog resources. |

Download Hijackthis.[google for it. can also be found in D-load.com] Scan and make sure you copy the contents of the log-file Go to the http://hijackthis.de/forums and post a topic in the English Support. Do the steps prescribed. Ask me if you don't understand any instruction. |

the scans SHOULD tell you what file the trojan is located in. it will most likely be a .dll or .exe file seeing as those can be queued on startup. if its an .exe, there is a good chance its going to be self replicating. >.< i hate those seeing as its hard as hell to try and find the ACTUAL base file thats causeing the problem. |

Your antivirus most likely cannot delete the files because they are running. Try restarting in safe mode then scanning as stated by Brian S. I could try to give you more advice, but I first need to know what Operating system you're running. (Version of Windows) Certain versions of Windows can be booted to a DOS like environment, and then you can use NAV's command line scanner. |
