I know that they can help with moderating... But them having access to the Admin CP i cannot see any point in, because i (on my forums) consiter myself as a moderator, but i have the ability to make forums etc... But, is their any other point that i may of missed? |

well, you have to make sure you trust the co admins. ive known my co admins for a long time because i used to talk to them on other boards, and on AIM. i fully trust them and they have helped me out with my board the whole way. just make sure you trust them, dont give an admin spot to a stranger. |

Well, if you're inexperienced as an admin they can help you a lot. Also, if for whatever reason you don't have time for your forum (vacations, broken computer.etc) somebody else can look after it while you're gone. |

I've another root-admin and a Co-Admin. Admins are of great help but the key word is trust. |

Fire Wolf is right. as i said, you MUST trust them completely. but other admins are helpful. if you are fearful of getting hacked, then i can see why you'd want to be the only admin. but other than that, i dont see why |

Yes if there is someone spamming up your board and you are not there then your admin is the next best hope to save your board. I have 2 co-admins. |

When I first made a board I didn't really know much about style sheets...so I added another admin to help me out with that. Now that I've learnt it all it's not vital that I have another one. But he helps me ensure the board runs efficiently. Although, he's not actually an Admin...just a mod who has access to the Admin CPs. But I have complete control...and he doesn't So he can't lock me or anything!

I don't own a board right now, but when I did, I had three co-admins. My board was a roleplaying board that needed constant change (poll/topic/character of the week, adding/changing new RP areas, promoting members once they reached a plot item to advence to a new area, etc.) ...so they truly were needed. In fact, I would have liked one more. But that was just my board, and it had special needs. Normally, one or two admins is all it takes. |

I own my forum and yes I have two admins. The reason for this is that, because moderators can only do so much that you need to have another admin. |

I have another admin who I trust 100%...He helped me get my board growing and helped to obtain hundreds of members by giving me some ideas, and we have both ventured into other areas of business together. He has every right I do on my board, and is as mature, and the same age as I.
