 Hi everyone, Who here thinks schools and school rules are becoming to strict nowadays?

 depends. if i hear some friends about the rules on their school, then they can be very strict. but some, including mine, are a bunch of [removed]. nothing gets checked etc.

so both yes and no actually. some schools are too strict i think, but some are far from strict.

 depends where you are i guess,

my school is pretty strict, but then i get along with the person who is supposed to punish me, so i hardly get punished :D

 Well in the UK (not sure about anywhere else) a new thing has come into fashion, stupid really, they are called Scooby's, little rubber thingy that you make patterns out of and bracelets and stuff, so far 48 srudents accross the uk have been suspendid for playing with them, peeps accusing peeps of stealing them (cost like 49p for 50) and its really silly.

summerholidays are being restricted three weeks rather than six weeks, if you wear trainers, no tie, collars up you risk getting a weeks suspention, no eating in the playgrounds or an hours detention.

They are a few rules from my school last year just before i left.

 This is like asking "Are moms too strict nowadays?" It's COMPLETELY dependent on what school you go to. It's just how their principles, and their principals, work. :)

 My school was never strict... until it decided to invent a "one way system" around the school.. i mean, come on. You got detention if you went the wrong way.

 Strict? No. Idiotic? Sure. My cousin [he's a year younger than meh] got a ISS [t3h In-School-Suspension] ..for spraying a little deoderant on in the hallway. And that's just the start of some crap I've seen people "punished" for. =P
