 Is art nudity allowed on InvisionFree? Reason I'm asking, is that a friend asked me, and I didn't know. So, would it be tolerated? I mean it's hardly porn.

Bingo. My interpretation of the TOS is that you cannot post anything sexual related, whether it is artistic or not.

 I saw this topic about a month ago and the basic conclussion was there is a line to what is nudity and sexual and what is not and it's up to individual prefference which means don't attempt to put it on your board cause the line is very thin. With that said until someone can convince them to update the TOS is says No Sexual content no if's and's or but's

 I asked the same question shortly after registering my forum, since I'm an artist and I paint, draw, sculpt, and photograph nudes at times, and would have liked to have included some in the art section at my forum.
I don't view nudity, in general, as "sexual material", so I don't agree with some of the reasoning behind previous posts here, but I don't think the TOS is suggesting it is necessarily sexual, which is why it's listed separately from porn and sexual material.
Unfortunate, but understandable, due to all of those who would try to bend the rules and cause way too much work for us to enforce them. :/

TO Some They Think Art Nuidity is Art Nudity to others the go off the deep end and post porn stating that its art :lol:

So its kind of like an iffy on these rules so yea it is a decent rule

I myself have an graphics site, and I had the same question put to me by fellow artists. I told them there's a thin line between what's art and porn, and the latter isn't allowed. I gave strict rules to explain about the material in their topic description, and then have a censored image in their post, with a link to the original in a zipped archive, and password protected. If the person wanted the pasword, they had to pm a staff member, and we would do a check to see if they were over 18 (most of my regulars are anyway), then give them the password. After that it's out of my hands. If someone really wants to find something then I'm sure they know how.

If I have violated the TOS then yes I am guilty, but the last time anything of that nature appeared was at least over a year ago, and if it's still a problem, or I'm riding the thin line with it, then I'll go an remove the images from very old posts. I just don't want, nor need my forum to be closed, so I don't want to be stepping on anyones' toes. :)

Even Loth removed the sig I had here a few weeks ago, it wasn't sexual, but showed a skeleton, inside a woman, but you could see the outline of 'certain body parts' (lol). After explaining in pm to her about my sig, I was fine with her removing it due to the much younger generation that resides on this board. ;)
