 Now that I have left school, summer holidays/vacation should be cancelled. You get far too long off school, the Americans amongst you are forced into summer jobs (how cruel are your parents??) and those who didn't do much at school have to go to summer school or your parents pack you off to camp whilst they go out partying every night (yes they don't tell you that bit do they).

I think the schools should give you one week off. Prepare you for the hard working life ahead. :P ;)

Not all American schools are out -__- Here, we don't get out till June 21st thanks to snow days and the like. But we get to go back in September while others are going back in August :P :rofl:

 Lucky. My last day of school is June 17! We started September 7 though. I go to a privite school. Thats probably why it's so late
