Don't ask how I found this it is a long story. If you notice the first post was made well after the second, and Rory is credited with making the topic. I am not sure if this was an old bug.

 happens in some of the poll topics in the poll booth. A bug does sound like a problem. But doesnt' happen {in|on} every topic.

Well that solves the problem. Unless you want to say why the server went out of sync you may close the topic.

 There used to be tons of topics like that, and not just on this board.
Most here have been fixed, or at least the ones in Code Snippets and such where we're likely to have seen them.
Took me awhile to figure out you could delete the first post in a topic by splitting it. :$
