Anyone else think the adverts should be linked to target="_blank"? I would click on some of them, but they navigate me away from my current page :(

Yes, exactly what i want to see, If an Ad interests me i have to right click and press Open in new window.

If not i dont even bother clicking them cause they dont open on a seperate page.

Ive tried Firefox and i hate it so much,
Hopefully Brandon will do something about these ad's, If so i bet it would increase the traffic of people that click them.

That's what I do, but it would still be handy for IE users to have this function...

Yeah, especially since the vast majority of Internet users use Internet Explorer.

No they don't. Check all the polls that have been created here.
All of them Firefox won 3 x 1 or so. Check your facts ;)

I bet the vast majority of users still use IE though. That isn't a proper poll of users across the entire network, just of this forum.

Not everyones mouse has a middle click though. ;)

It doesn't really bother me at all because I've never clicked on those links before, I don't even notice them half of the time.

Members on this forum tend to be extremely biased towards FF, since a lot of people here are experienced with computers. However, those that are not will most likely just have IE. I would definitely say that the majority of internet surfers have IE.

I wouldn't go so far as to say a lot of people here are experienced with computers... Some people around here just know about turning it on and typing in invisionfree.com ... :P

As was brought up in the staff forum, middleclick doesn't work on the ads.
Neither does right-click>>open in new tab/window, and neither does ctrl+click, so coding it to open in a new window is the way to go. Posted Image
