Yes I know what the guest fuction is. I just checked the last active members in the last three days, very few visit my site these days though I won't get into that. But I am wondering who guest is? he or she must've visited. Its definitly something to do with Invisionfree due to the email address. So is it something that I've done or someone has done?

Also I am wondering what this -> <- actually is is? I am unsure of what it actually is.

Thanks for any help or explirnation.

Could also be a google bot or the like... I've had quite a few of those on my board lately, have no idea where the sudden bot popularity comes from...

I'll have twelve guests on my board sometimes. I figure they are google bots or another search engine's bots. Nothing to be worried about...

I think he means the default guest found in the ACP in usergroups under "Guests". :) If you look, you will see 1 person. This, as QJ explained, is just default. There appears to be no real relevance to it since you can remove it. Must be some weird and pointless IPB thing. :/ Removing it appears to have no effect on the forums whatsoever (the person/account/whatever it's meant to be, NOT the guest usergroup which cannot be deleted). Although, I'm not sure how it's deleted.

If you go to "Find/Edit/Suspend User" under Usergroups and search the "Guest" category, you'll find the profile. I would kinda like to know the point behind it, it seems utterly pointless to have something added in that doesn't effect the forum or even guests.
