Banner ads on Index page

 They look terrible IMO :angry:

Please consider moving the banner ads to the bottom of the post pages instead.

The text ones that blend in would be more suitable on the index page as it is the very first thing people see when they log in.

By the tme people get to the point of posting something, banner ads don't seem as obtrusive, as post pages often have plenty of images of various colours already.

Ugly tacky ones with $$$ signs like the one below is a good example of how a nasty banner add can make your front page look like crap. :rolleyes:

If you do not want the adds, then you can pay for them to be removed. And, if they are not somewhere able to been seen, then how is IF going to pay for everything?

 The Google.com Advertisements aren't on your page to look pretty, they are there to raise money for InvisionFree, I think per click InvisionFree gets 10 Cents. If they were moved to the bottom they would hardly get any clicks because they would hardly be noticeable.

I don't see any problem with the Advertisements at the top, they hardly even bother me, if you really don't want them there purchase Ad Removal.

 Brandon has already stated, that we have very limited control over image ads, but he will try to work on limiting the amount that show up.

Well, we did try to make the text ads blend on boards for a reason.

 is it possible to change (or add) the colour of the border for the adds at the top. It's just on my board it looks odd with out a border because everything else on the page has one.
