 If i ever buy ad removal, it will be when i have over 1000 members, and my site is doing very well with its own .com and a really nice homepage. Then i would take donations to keep the site running, and for ad removal. other then that i think its pointless.

 i have site removal, it lasts a pretty long time, but i think they should make it so each 'credit' is for a visit, not a page view. that means one person can have like 50 credits taken away in 1 session. its cheap though.



and donating to IF, i cant wait for the new IF with store , new features , etc. i have 128 members, and growing every day.. ya.

 I would probly use it if it would be per a vister maybe like this:

Vister= Someone who has never been on this bord before.

Every Vister that comes over twice in a months time should be able to take some money and never see the adds again.

Each new vister that comes more than twice in a month should only cost the owner of the board 50p or something like that, a one of payment.

 On my board $5 is gone in 2 weeks, not all that much but it does add up, but now that only members are ad-free the cost is less than half that - this is definitely the way to go, and it's another way to get people to register.

 I purchased add removal ...

At first I had it so that higher ranking members would have no adds, (excepts mod's and me as we use the forum more) but then when we got close to our credit quota and I asked for donations for those who wished the add removal to remain, no-one was willing to come up with a buck or two to help me out...

So I turned the adds back on for everyone and I keep the credits so that I can display my own banner at the bottom of the forum. (I am allowed to do that I hope? )

If I get more money in my paypal account, then I might consider turning the adds off again for the members, but if they want to play, yet aren't willing to pay a wee bit to help out, why should I always foot the bill? :/
