 The other day, on a non-Invisionfree forums I run..I banned a guy I knew for years now, because he was being an ass, breaking rules left and right, and disrespecting the staff. Little did I know what'd happen as a result..

He got his little "OMG I 1337!" friends together, who apparently spam forums a lot, and "attacked". Course..I had their IP's and e-mails banned in like..5 seconds, but one did manage to post some very..VERY nasty pics {I don't think I should even mention what in general, might get meh a warning. :arr:}

Well, this morning, a friend of mine who's on s10 of Invisionfree IM's me over AIM..going "..My forums are dead." So, I ask "..Do wha?", and he explains what happened. Apparently..some guy came over last night, and posted in every..single..thread on the ENTIRE BOARDS [We're talking hundreds upon hundreds of threads]..with porno. Again, I'm not going to say what kind.

So, ol' Omi had to go through deleting these posts one by one {thank GOD for Firefox's Ad-Block and the * feature.} Looks like these guys have hit a few other forums too.

So, The discussion? ..Ever had this happen to you? And dear lord, why would someone do this? :blink: I mean..to post this kinda crap, you gotta..ya know..have it..on..your..PC. And..ehrgg.

 I had this done to my forum before, instead the spamer decided to post gay porn pics, which was most un-needed, I banned him before he got too far though.

 Geesh. Some people are just retards. You punish them for something they did wrong, and they have to just be general idiots towards you, then take it out on other people because they're lowly scum. Something's gotta be done about this kinda stuff... <_<

 Hmm... could one of those members be called '1337'? I've had that guy doing the same thing.

On my s10 IF forum, two users stated spamming, and flaming the staff team. I had to suspend the user for 20 Years on an IP ban.

 Lemme put it this way: gay porno was the least of the things this guy posted. Like I said..thank God for ad-block. >.<

But yeah, it is pretty pathetic. And I think the guy's gonna try "Round 2" today.

Edit: Nope. But if you know XOZ, Zymotic is Wrong, thief36, or ginni {though there could be others with those SN's, I highly doubt the first two}..well...could be.

 Yeah..but this guy, posted some of the nastiest..ehrgg..really, if I hint at it, I'd probably get a warning. :P But, this was in eeevery single thread of my friend's forums. Luckily, he only got one of mine before I had his main IP and proxy banned.

 Yes this has happened to me in fact we had several cases of one person kept using different computers IP's and Emails like 6 times. we had to set manual validation and 30 second flood control just to slow him down. I've had other minor spam attacks but yeah that was the worst Typhoon I've prolly seen all the pics you dont want to describe or maybe even worse.

 Well I had allmost exaclly the same problem as you, the pictures were unbarible, it actally made one of my members sick :( .

I caught him in the act but he had allready posted in half of the threads :( so I had to go through them all deleting every one (Long job) I had about a 100 P.Ms from all of my members, lol, they like looking after my forums ;) anyway I have IP and email banned him, and haven't heard of him since.
