Ok, someone I'm talking with is having problems with AIM in trying to view my webcam. Everything is working fine, like she can hear me, except she can't see the picture. It says that she is connected, but nothing is appearing. I went to the AIM site, she did what it told us to, but it still isn't working. Does anybody know what else to try? Thanks in advance, hope someone can help out. |

Take the lens cap off? o/j Can you get it to work with any other software? try msn or netmeeting, this will confirm if it is a hardware or software problem. Also what type of webcam are we talking abour? |

Try quickly disabling your firewall to see what happens. |

well, someone else was able to view the cam, so it didn't have anything to do with that. I don't think it's a firewall problem either, because it would have said something like "firewall error, try again later" (it said that for someone else) this will sound like a wierd question, but what is netmeeting? |

no, i'm almost positive it isn't a firewall problem, otherwise it would have said it was, as it said to someone else |
