Hey there. Just wanted to say that my forum has a suspicious increase in the number of visitors to my forum. My previous "most users online" was either 9 or 10... at 7.28am today it was 421! yes, FOUR HUNDRED AND TWNETY ONE. I don't even have a quarter of that registered on my board! I know it could just be a fluke of people going on and looking, but it seems too big even for that. Any ideas as to what it could be? Any need for alarm? |

Glitch. I highly doubt you actually recieved 421 visitors, or you would have had atleast around 5 more members |

well... i logged on at around 8 o clock, and had 20 people still on then (that would be 19 guests plus myself). The numbers fluctuated til about 10 or 11 o clock, then went. they've just started rising again tho. EDIT: They've steadied now to something that roughly normal. |

Possibly you changed the setting to show active users in the past 38463 minutes

One possibility is that some users with certain browser settings and ISPs can cause a new guest session to be created each time he loads a page. |

One time I had about 20 Google bots on my board at once. I think they were Google bots, because the IP addresses all looked similar to the one that comes around on my board every once in a while. |
