 I was going to report someone for libel but there was nothing to fill in. So I had to use "Other."

Abusive Content is any content on a board that is considered threatening, libelous, abusive, or defamatory.
Due to the nature and volume of posts on InvisionFree boards by third parties, we are unable to judge content posted by those third parties. InvisionFree will promptly comply with any court order presented regarding abusive content. InvisionFree may remove any post or topic in accordance with the Terms of Service.


Basically that's saying we can't do a thing unless you get a court order, because in many many many cases its hard to judge the content as abusive, threatening, libel etc. :/

 "A false publication, as in writing, print, signs, or pictures, that damages a person's reputation.
The act of presenting such material to the public.
A defamatory statement or representation esp. in the form of written or printed"

I studied some copyright law so I could probably give a more clear answer, gimme a sec to get my notes. :P

Ah yes, anyway, the definition above seems accurate. It's basically defamation in a written (or printed) state. Defamation (from 'defame') basically means to damage one's reputation in some manner, so if I wrote an article that stated IPB are a rip off and cheat people (without evidence) and printed it, it would be libel. And for any thinking it: libel is not the same as liable.

 Gotcha, well I just used other for now.

I've already sent two reports today dealing with abuse. People just can't get enough out of abusing my forum.

They super spammed the forum and now a guy claims that he have ripped the skin and there is no way to stop him (probably the same guy)

It does work. You're just wasting our time if you put those reports in Other. Without a court order we'll just trash them.
