One of my members on my site told me that you can get banned for having the "Dont click here" link in your sig, is that true? :unsure: The link is the IF directory link for my forum. |

The forum's admin probably bans them for advertising. That's probably the case. |

You can link to your forum but not to the Board Directory link. It's cheating. And size 23 is too big - maximum size font is 7.  But I took care of it for ya.

The forum directory is completely unfair anyway. Look here, my forum is the "JG Formula 1" forum at position 18. Some new F1 forum "F1 Fans" jumps in about 2 months after mine was created and has suddenly jumped up to 6 with twice the amount of hits I have. How is that? I've been working my ass off to make my forum work out... Not only that there are forums in there that don't even fit into the automobiles section. |

Yeah, many people have noted how unfair the directory is, and how much cheating goes on, that's why Brandon is redoing it...

The Directory will be completely revamped when IF2 comes out, and cheating will not be possible. Just hang on for a little longer. |

when if2 comes out, will all of the if1 boards be converted to if2 or will we have to make a new board to get the new software? will you help with post recovery if we have to make a new one? if there's a topic on this feel free to just post the link, im just wondering.. |

All InvisionFree boards will be upgraded. You will not need to start another board.

Clicking links such as http://invisionfree.com/directory.php?go=XXXXXX don't work anyway and won't boost hits, they only boost hits if you click the link in the directory. |
