What if JUST IF Support was IF 2.0 for a week before it came out? Then it would help us get used to the look and feel of the newer version.

That won't work. We would only get used to the Members part, not in the administration part.

Well the very day this comes out Im going to do an all-nighter and I'll try and get to know the ins and outs of the new features better than just about anyone.. then the next day { after I wake up} I'll be here doing my best to give quality support.... I may actually get to write some documentation for you guys.

When the upgrade happens, I'll probably just post in sick and sleep all day to avoid it.

No, no, ofcourse not, but I can just picture the chaos.

As for letting support helpers test 2.0 before hand, Ha. I don't think it will be too hard to figure out if you know what you're doing already. At least not a few days like someone mentioned. Probably a couple - few hours would be more like it.

For documentation, I'm sure the staff would probably be able to do the most of what will be needed, but if we do miss something you think is necessary, a doc may not hurt if we think it's useful.

jay, do you know if teh update will effect board stats (user online, post count, members etc)

id liek to know this, i cant image skins being faulty when it happens, as im sure it wil be fine! but aslone as topics and stats stay im fine with it! if i lose evrything, ill hist the forum myself on my server, which is what i want to do anyway, but due to teh fact we have alot of posts people have moaned that tehy dotn want to make like 5000 posts each again!

If you read the Upgrade Discussion and FAQ topics, you'd find that your question has already been answered multiple times. Things like that will not be lost.

I agree but then you can look in the Support Forums and see how many people actually know what they are talking about, which is just a few. Personally I am good with computers and technology and will probably figure the acp out in a little amount of time, however, if the SVs are going to be in the support forums trying to help out with wrong information then I will not even look in the support forums for about a month.
