ok I'm new to inivison free and want to know how do I make someone a moderator. I clicked on moderators and made him a moderator in all the forums but his title still says newbie!!!! and I want it to be moderator |

Make a moderator group. Edit the member you wish to become a moderator, put him into the "Moderator" group instead of "Members". Admin CP >> Find/Edit User >> "name" >> Edit Group (Moderator) >> Done

What you will need to do is change his member title manually. In your Admin Panel, you can do this two ways. The first is a shortcut. Since you know to the member name, simply sign on to your Admin Panel, then scroll down to the Quick Clicks section, put the member name in the Edit Member area and click Find Member. Choose Edit Details then in the Member Title area put Moderator, Mod or whatever title you want. The other way is to sign in the Admin Panel, go to Users and Groups -> Find/Edit User. Search the member's username Member Quick Search. You'll get the same screen after searching as you would in the first way. Choose Edit Details then in the Member Title area put the title you want. |
