When you try to move a topic into a forum that already has that topic:

Code:

You cannot move this topic into the same forum, well, you could but there wouldn't be a lot of point

Might want to correct that.

Edit: I didn't mean typo, I meant grammar mistake.

What does all that ^ have to do with the fact that you need a period before well and that well should be capitalized? Or at least a semicolon :ermm:

Edit: There was a giant post that scrolled at lot above this one when I said that, and it was gibberish :ermm:

I am going to take a wild guess and think that it was intended to be a stream of thoughts and thus a period would not quite fit.

Grammar doesn't matter much when only the two or three admins of the board are looking at it, in my opinion. In fact, I like the little mistakes in the ACP prompts. They give the dull forum duties of an admin the slightest hint of flavor. Now, whether or not the typos and such were added accidentally or purposely is still up for debate. ;)

Ummm? I don't get it? Mabey I'm slow but the commers are doing the correct job being where they are, it wouldn't sound right if you put a full stop in the middle of it.
Mabey one at the end but its not really important because there is nothing following off from it so you know its the end of a sentance anyway.

Technically there should be a period or semicolon where the first comma is. Also there should be a period at the end as well. Also "a lot of point" doesn't sound right.

But anyway not that big of a deal. :eh:

The Commas are Parathetical commas meaning you can pop in a bit more info in a sentence. Brackets are used like that also. EG: There was a small boy, called bob, running up the street.

That's for use with interjections and stuff though, as in your example. The sentence we are disussing has a clear end and a new idea introduced. But, yeah, it's not a big deal. :ermm:

Bottom line: grammar is used incorrectly in the sentence.

You should fix this typo whenever you get a chance, Brandon.

Lol! Thats what I was trying to say...honest :shifty:

It all really depends how you read into it and how you talk, some people might think its a mistake, others might not, either way, its not worth figting about XD
