Best firewall?

 i have just found no use for a firewall....ever. im sry itsa just that i believe it leads users to poor protection when uy use alot of programs and u frget to turn it off and all u get is "do u want to allow it, disallow it or let it go this time?" for every thing u do. and that just leads to bad habits sometimes.

that...and i can root out anything that does affect my comp just by my own knowledge. also i am behind a proxy and a router which one has a hard coded firewall and the other resets my IP

 well, i have no firewall, only a router.
just made the settings on router lock up everything exept the things i really want.
have spysweeper and hitmanpro, norton anti virus, don't have any problems.

 Well to be honest the best firewall ever is to have everything running through another computer before it even gets to yours like have it set up so everything gets scanned from an old crappy one before it even gets to your system

 After all the advice and debate i settled for "Kerio"

its 98% good

the only thing is it blocks some images and ads from been shown...but hey, whats better than viewing I.F boards with no ads? lol :lol:
