 Realise, it's too late to warn him anymore.

Today is today, as in right now.
"Today is gonna rock."
Today is happening right now.

Thus, I come to my conclusions that Iostream has already inhaled that tank of helium, or has already done so..(or didn't do it at all).

and might be in the hospital right now. :ermm:
When is queaky voices fun? I prefer Halo 2. :P

no, i did it. it was fun and we didnt directly do it out of the tank. out of ballons only.

also i did it through my nose and it was rather entertaining. anyways we were safe about it and his parents were home the whole itme. all is good.

although we did goto world market and purchase miso soup and 33.8oz bottles of rootbeer. they were delicious

Wow then his parents aren't all that responible if they know your taking in helium.

I don't see the point in that. I did it once just to hear my voice. I got light headed after only doing two breathes. That was it for me. I don't see how sitting around making helium balloons and then inhaling them is entertaining. Why would you waste 20 bucks on that man... >_<

How would that mean his parents aren't responsible?

1) Helium is completely harmless, and again, not a drug.

2) It's more responsible to have them do it (or take drugs/alcohol, for that matter) in their presence, than completely unsupervised.

1)It's not completely harmless, your replacing oxygen with something foreign to the body. You need air to breathe not helium. Replacing oxygen with anything isn't good.

2)Actually that wouldn't make you a great parent. If your son does drugs if front of you and doesn't care then there is something wrong.

1) You're not replacing anything with anything.
You're temporarily taking a breath of helium.
Not even a full breath, most likely, which means there's still air in your lungs.
Air, not oxygen..
There's something like 20% oxygen in air, and most of the rest is nitrogen.
As long as you continue to take in some amount of oxygen, you're fine.
Divers breath helium all the time, mixed with nitrogen and a little less oxygen than normal.
So again, unless you're supremely stupid, helium is completely harmless.

2) The more enlightened realize that:
a. Not all drugs are bad, mmkay..
b. People are going to do drugs if they want to, just as they always have, at least for tens of thousands of years anyway, so the best way to address the issue is with education instead of propaganda and scare tactics, and by not forcing them to hide it from you and do it in unsafe/less safe situations and locations.

I hope you never have a child who dies or gets injured or anything else from doing something risky, when they could have been doing it safely at home under watchful eye and influence.
Causing your children to hide things from you is never good, and in the case of drugs, almost inevitably leads them into much more dangerous situations and relationships than they'd otherwise encounter.

Blame PhranK. Or me. Or Special Forces. Mainly PhranK. He's a good debater. Ph34r PhranK, he probably hasn't debated in a while and is getting restless. :) I don't think I've said PhranK so many times in a post. :/

PhranK. ^_^

I'm a "good debater", huh?
Not a master debater? :r
Ah, well..
I blame Luna, though she was trying to be helpful. :huggle:

And nobody plans on sucking helium, it just happens.
Ok, well it sort of sounds like you planned it, but in general..

*PhranK wonders.. if you give helium to somebody who's voice is already really high-pitched, will they become inaudible, at least to the human ear?
