 as soon as i get my 3.0 gpa, i can get my license... im so excited, but then i have to keep it. that shouldnt be too hard tho. i get to drive my little rice burning kia.

No, I mean he will show all those traits and characteristics, if he DID get and keep a 3.0 GPA

 I have a feeling the parents said "No 3.0, no driver's license, at least not while you're living under our roof anyway." or something to that effect? :unsure:

 If my parents would have told me that i wouldnt have gotten a drivers license since my GPA was 1.4 other than my Junior High school GPA that was like a 0.9 but my 10th grade one was a 3.5 then it went back to 1.4 i guess you can call me Stupid

 Well, my GPA was always crap too, but that's because after 3rd grade or so, school was a pathetic waste of time.
I was smarter than my teachers and already knew half of what they were trying to teach, so I wasn't about to spend hours each day with busywork when I could use that time for more productive things like drawing on my desk and skateboarding and then just ace all the tests later.

Einstein had bunk scores too, not that I'm comparing myself to him, just using it as proof of the meaninglessness of it all.

 I have my own car and im just waiting for my provisional licence to come and them im doing my driving lessons and hopefully ace my driving test.

What does this get you?

I think they mean the original topic poster's parents wn't let him/her start to learn to drive until they do well in school, by getting a good Grade Point Average. Am, I right, or do I sound like an idiot?
