Oh right, I totally understand :unsure:

What does this get you?

I think they mean the original topic poster's parents wn't let him/her start to learn to drive until they do well in school, by getting a good Grade Point Average. Am, I right, or do I sound like an idiot?

 I've had mine for longer than many of you have been alive. :lol:

By the way, for the curious, the grades are:

A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
(No E for some reason, probably because of "Failure")
F = 0

Add up the grades for each class and divide by # of total classes for the GPA, so 3.0 is a B average.

oh wait, not a girl.... bugger.

There was nothing but myself stopping me from getting my license when i turned 17. Unfortunately i almost succeeded... Too lazy to send off for my provisional to begin with... then failed my Theory twice [it's possible! so don't mock :ph34r: ]

Passed my Practical first time though, even though i stalled the car at the last set of lights before i had to finish. what a muppet :rolleyes:.

try "no 3.0, no insurance. i dont want to pay for insurance so, i need a 3.0, even tho a 2.88 is a b- and thats wat i have now...


(insurance is cheaper with a 3.0.)
