i have never seen this topic anywhere here, and wanted do do a poll to ask who is your favourite brittish comedian

mine overall has to be billy connely

 I have several:

Rikki Fulton, Victoria Wood, Billy Connely and Bill Bailey. I grew up watching most of them, cept Bill but he's my fave modern one. :wub:

 but lee evans does do some good jokes

like the one about whn he went to blackpool and he was in a b&b.....the sign said breakfast from 7 until 11......well after 9 o clock i cudnt eat another thing

 Meh . . . I'm a big fan of Monty Python, even though they were 'before my time', their humour is classic ;)

So I'd say those chaps. :D

And although he is not a comedian per se, he's very comical--Douglas Adams :D

mainly john clesse and second Michael palin(EDIT: or terry jones)

Peter Kay is Vgood. I prefer him in comidies like Phoenix nights rather then standup myself though

Ricky Gervais was brilliant in the office!! Stand up alright but not the best (based on animals)

Billy Connoly = Scottish Nutter (literally)
Laugh more at him than his jokes!!
Stripped and ran round Trafalgar Square (I think) for Comic Relief after they made a certain amount!! Like I said a nutter

 I don't know any British Commedians, but I do know commedy shows and movies :P

Monthy Python and the (I don't know which one but it's the one with Camelot, and all those knights dancing, and also a slave, hanging and clapping too, and then the lot doesn't go there, because Camelot is a silly place)

TV To Go, I love the sillyness of this.. Totaly random :r

 There was an actor that I think is pretty funny but I dont know his name.
I saw too many movies for him about 10 or so, the last movie i saw him in was "Dodge ball".
