i totally agree, blue collar comedy is a lot better than british comedy, at least i can understand what those four are talking about.... brits have an odd sense of humor that some of us americans can't understand.

Funny I would say the same about Americans :P

Each to their own I guess :)

The Americans do make a good sitcom though, our sitcoms havent been that good recently, but look at what america produces.

British comedy hasn't been the same since these where on our screens:

Faulty Towers
Only Fools and Horses
etc

Peter kay is making up for it with Pheonix nights and M&P though

I saw some American called Demitri though, he was hilarious

Peter Kay for me.

2 reasons.

1. He's by far the funniest comedian in the UK (and in my mind, the world).
2. He's a local lad, he lives a couple of miles away from me.

Monkey dust isnt really my thing and the smoking room isnt funny all the time.
green wing is a bit to odd for me though mind!

Faulty Towers is a classic series. Who will beat that? ever?

Peter Kay is probably the funniest at the moment, although ... how could you forget Chris Morris and Steve Coogan?!?!?
