Ahem, I didn't blame the video games, I said there is a tiny minority of people that are influenced. I in fact blamed the fact that they are not of sound mind, I play some violent video games myself. :rolleyes: I was simply saying that there are indeed people who can be influenced but only because there is something not right with their minds, it's hardly the company's fault. |

I blame porno for rape. Why?: They see sexual acts through TV, and the internet, and they say "oh, why not? It looks nice" then they rape someone.  Of course, not all rapes are caused by pornographic material, like the usual sicko who wants to do things like that. :blink: I think the world should outlaw porno, but it might just lead to a Black Market for Porn or riots, or sometime like that.

The latter. Places that outlaw things like porn or drugs or gambling or whatever have many times more problems with porn or drugs or gambling or whatever.
1) It didn't have to be that long, but I found way too much useful information. 2) I really hope you're not basing your essay on what you think will be more interesting or entertaining, as opposed to accurate. :blink: 3) That peeping tom that became a rapist was likely a rapist who hadn't yet raped anyone and just happened to have been a voyeur. 4) I told you so. 2000 words, huh? That's hardly enough for an opening statement. :/ You should write more if they'll let you. |

Are you on crack? If everytime someone in the world saw porno and they raped someone 99% of all women would have been raped. Porn dosn't lead to rape. |

TMI lolAnd psychologically speaking, a vast majority of rape isn't about sex at all.. it's about power and control. If watching porn influences someone to commit rape; something else also would have So no, I don't think porn is at fault on this one.

How in the hell would Porn lead to rape? have you ever actually heard about a case of a person who rapes becuase he loved porn? i can see the headlines now Person who looks at porn rapes his magazine (sp) or Person who looks at porn was electrictuted for raping his monitor |
