Quantum-locked when observed.

Hopefully the Internet will have evolved to the point where URIs look nothing like they do today. Or else I'll just memorize it like I did my library card number :D

if you imanage what nanotechnology can do, you think servers of today are powerfull? with nanotechnology we could probley make servers 1000+ times more powerfull then THE MOST powerfull SUPER computer today. and that is NOT kidding. that would be able to do probley 100,000,000,000 - 900,000,000,000 calculatioins in 1 second while it would take computers of today (like this ME) serveral hundred years.

nanotechnology - Study of making things on the Atomic, sub atmoic (and other sub atmoic levels) along on the molcular level). if we could get the EXCAT chemical composition of say lava; we could do things with lava that we can't do right now.

accually stormtrooper, if there were that many servers, then everyoue would just need a couple gigantic forums that take up jsut about an entire server to themselves. heh.

I think the initial letter would change. e.g. t1.invisionfree.com

or

A new domain might be used. e.g. s1.ifboards.com

Both of those are better than s182.invisionfree.com

Probably more like boardname.#.if

However, you would never reach so many billions of forums, as eventually everyone in the world would have to work here at IF Support to handle all the support needs, and then they'd stop making new forums except for the occasional test forum, and they'd neglect their other forums, and everything would collapse.

If IF really got that big, Duffman would have to be a millionare to uphold the server costs of each new one he rolls out. And frankly, he doesn't make that much.

Now that I think of it, society itself would probably collapse before everyone got on the support staff, since people would be skinning their forums instead of growing crops and going to the office and all that. :rory:

Each server pays for itself. Thus there is not reason why InvisionFree would not be free at any size.

So, Duffman, how is it that you manage to make profit from this?
