It's not just when sending/recieving texts. You phone constantly sends and recieves signals (it communicates between the phone and the nearest signal mast).

So pretty much all the time you are subject to a bit of radiation. And seeing as most men keep their phones in their pockets, the radiation is close to their testicles. Hence higher chance of Testicular Cancer. However, it has not been proven.

Your right it hasnt been proven. But just to add to what you said, yeah signals are sent all the time but the highest point of radiation, where it is maybe a tad significant is the moment a call/text is connected. As soon as you answer a phone, or when your ringing for someone and they pick up...that second has the highest amount of radiation...and then it goes back down..

[Edit] didn't realize it was a double post :P ...my bad

The television can help proving this  if your phone is too close to the tv or radio when you have an incoming phone call or text message you will notice the sound and/or picture goes really distorted.

whats funny, is that u can generalize topics like this into a statement like "even breathing gives you cancer" because its true. so the only option for this...stop breathing

Never saw that?

But Salmon? This is the fish right? I'm surprised nobody said anything about this.
I mean most fish are supppose to be healthy for you. Omega 3 oils, fatty acids, all good for the body. (And your probablly thinking why I eat something that makes me fat, it's not the literal definitions of fatty acids. Look it up if you must).

Also what about burnt food, that's the most direct way. To much carcinogens in your body causes cancer. That's why they tell you to drink orange juice with it, orange juice counteracts carcinogens.

Also I have a cell phone and yeah your going to get radiation. Just like when I sit next to my laptop and have my wireless connection connected, radiowaves (Broadband wavelengths) come in contact with me. I mean as long as your not over exposed.

There are natural things to take to make sure you don't get cancer, such as something from a company called Manatech® which makes something called Ambrotose(tm). I used this stuff, and it works, it cleans out the toxics in your body, I had more energy, I can think clearer. I'm not saying go out and buy this stuff, but I'm just saying there are things that can help you.
There was a testimonial on this from Ambrotose that someone with cancer had like 5,000Mg of this stuff into his I-V and it helped him cure the cancer.

I'm just touchy on this subject because my friend who was 14 died last summer from a cancerous tumor. :'(

For those in the UK, O2 and Vodafone networks are generally safer than Orange and T-Mobile, but...

...Let's not worry, the routes to death are endless.

The Earth is overpopulated by at least a factor of 10 anyway, so who cares?
Do everyone a favor and smoke 'em if you got 'em. :r

Anyway, there's some product advertised here lately that's supposed to return your body to a non-acidic state, which supposedly prevents pretty much any disease.
I'm doing some research on it..

You only get cancer if your body's cancer cells trigger if they dont like something, e.g. someone can eat pot noddles all their life and not get cancer and someone can eat them and trigger their cells off straight away. People these days don't have a clue. <_<

Your body doesn't have "cancer cells" unless you have cancer. >_<

Oh, I heard that posting support questions that have already been answered in the documentation causes cancer, but it may be just a rumor.
We may never know.. :r

Cancer is a dangerous thing, an ex girlfriend had cancer and unfortunately had to move hundreds of miles away for the appropriate treatment. :'(

Cancer cells are normal cells to start with. It is when their DNA is damaged in a way that causes them to rapidly perform mitosis without stop that they become cancerous. The damage to the DNA seems to be the problem.

Apart from that, alot of people link cancer to radiation. Any thing in the electro-magnetic spectrum is radiation. (Hence the term 'electro-magnetic radiation'.) This can range from relatively harmless radiation with long wavelengths like radio waves and microwaves. Visible light is a kind of radiation too. Infrared light has a slightly longer wavelength then visible light, and ultraviolet light has a slightly shorter wavelength. The radiation becomes more dangerous with shorter wavelengths, which are able to penetrate much better through matter. Gamma rays are those with the shortest wavelengths, being the most dangerous.

ive decided the best way to cure cancer is no longer radiation treatment.

it is now a radioactive topical salve that u rub on the affected area 4 times aday or more if it doesnt stay moist. injesting isnt the smartest idea, and common side affects are continous feelings of uncomfortableness, coughing, sneezing, testicle shrinkage, and death....horrible, painful and debilitating death.

Indeed, studies have shown that excessive studies can cause cancer.
