I think Michael Jackson's innocent. Chances are that the entire trial is about money. Besides, it seems as if it would be OOC for him to actually be guilty. OOC = out of character |

Didn't get though all the posts to see if this was mentioned, but last time if he was not guilty why did he pay of the kid and family? and not fight it, his image? he has none |

Because he didn't want to waste months in trial? Because the corrupt media would have made it hard for him to get a fair trial, as they've been doing this time as well? Because he has/had enough money that he could afford to take the easy way out and was naive enough to think other gold-diggers wouldn't follow? Who knows? Here's a little (true) story: I was with this girl a few years ago, and she turned out to be a psycho, like so many of them do.. but most don't come at you with a 10 inch kitchen knife. >_< So, after grabbing her wrists and trying to wrestle the knife from her hand by banging it on the wall like they do in movies and failing, I did what I knew for sure would work, which was headbutting her in the face and breaking her nose. Blah blah blah To make a long story a bit shorter, the arrogant and clueless District Attorney decided, without even talking to her or checking her background, to press charges against me for assault and domestic violence and a few other things, since we'd been living together at the time. I had quit my job and moved to my parents' place 300 miles away within a couple days of the incident, since I didn't feel safe. I was soon informed of the charges against me, and that I could plead "no contest" and pay something like $800 for some bullmullet anger management course that would last a year or something, and if I "graduated", I'd be off the hook and have no criminal record, but that if I didn't "graduate" for some reason, which would be completely dependent on some fool's assessment of me at the end of the year and whether I missed any meetings or whatever, they could go ahead with the charges against me and I might still end up in jail. Now, if they hadn't thrown that last part in there about the possibility of still ending up in jail after all that nonsense, I probably would have considered it, even though I was completely innocent and it should have been her that was on trial instead of me. As it was, I ended up having to borrow over $2000 from my father to pay for a lawyer, as well as the time and money for travel and lodging to go back and forth the 300 miles a few times, only to have her not show up for the trial, so the case was dismissed, and it came up that over the several months this took, she had never once returned any their phone calls and hadn't been involved in the case at all. Nobody ever apologized to me, and my lawyer advised me not to file a civil suit against the state or district attorney or whatever, because it would be impossible to win and would only cost me more. So, I stood up for what I thought was right, and won, though it cost me some money and a good bit of sanity, and the stress of worrying about whether some jury would put me in jail probably took a few years off my life. Anyway, if I had tons of money and could have just settled it and got it all over with and out of the way like Jackson could, I probably would have too, regardless of what it would make anyone think. Though I probably would have assumed that if everybody heard about the settlement and somebody else came along and made more charges against me, they'd be able to put 2 and 2 together, especially if the person making the claim had a history of going after people and companies and then settling for large sums of money.

You need to put aside who he is and not let that get in the way of innocent or guitly. I really don't know, myself, to many rumors and too many stories. Whatever the trial is I say it the right decision. |

I'm a fan of jacko, but he is wacko. I believe micheal may do something like this, but I think it's just some loser kid who wants to gain off micheal's millions, I bet it was a hand shake or something, which turned into touching up. People overreact nowerdays. |

And I asume that you have met him and talk with him? You can't really hate someone you don't know him/her.
