 well I'm on a public comp so I can't remember the terms MS uses, but basically ...it goes like this:

Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> Network >> Protocols >> TCP/IP >> Properties >> Click Advanced and click Add
>> Manually enter an IP address (u have to click one of the radio buttons to do this).. enter a new IP such as 001.001.001 press tab then ok then ok again.... (some people suggest you reboot the comp at this point) but what I do is I just go back to the properties click the "automatic IP" it'll automatically assign a new IP address for you, and u can always go back to make sure it changed IPs) ... you don't have to re-boot at this point but if you do..... your IP will be completely different. I think you should also delete the cookies set by the site as well.


.... I don't usually like giving computer advice out..... ... but just to be safe, that's how I change my IP address, if you mess something up it's ur own fault :D (I doubt anything will happen in this case)

 if you have a static ip and want a change, just contact your ISP and give a good reason.

if you have dynamic you dont even need to reset ur modem just go to Cprompt

ipconfig release_all
ipconfig renew_all

vioula .. idk if u spell it like that lol
