I think I'm going to starve my pet. That's my right, after all. I am it's guardian. No more dog-food! The Government has NO RIGHT to stop me!

As Phrank said, if you have a 15 year old brain dead dog that related to you, her legal guardian, that she didn't want to be kept alive then.........

Pretty bad analogy there eh?

Really now, think about the Pro Life president. As the poster above me said, we kill people in Iraq all the time.

Heck, Governer GW Bush signed a bill saying that if you can't pay for the medical care, a child can be taken off life support against the parents will.

Why aren't people protesting that?

I find it very sad that the same people that would not respect the wish of Terry Schiavo and her husband has no problem with the state killing off people in Iraq or anywhere else in the world... or even in the US:

There is SO much hypocracy in this that I won't even begin...
I'll just say that personally I am glad she finally found peace.

Hey, thanks for the link. :)
Is polygamy legal where you live? :$

Anyway, that's one of the most amusing things about this whole matter.
That most of those fighting for her life share responsibility for the suffering of millions, at best, and mass murder, at worst.

I'm glad she finally found peace as well.
I have to wonder though, if there is a heaven or something else beyond death, did her soul go there 15 years ago when her brain died, or was it forced to wait all these years for her body to die?

You put the feeding tube in, you take the feeding tube out, you put the feeding tube in and ya' shake it all about! You do the hokey pokey and ya' turn yourself around, that's what it's all about!
