Well i pay around $60 a year for my reseller hosting. so i wouldnt pay.

The only way i think people would pay is if it was sumthing like $5 a month for what we have now.

$5/mo is $60/year, so I doubt people would go for IF when they can get an IPB that they can mod properly (I assume you have access to your files).

InvisionFree is great, but I wouldn't pay for it.

No. I won't pay for anything with "free" in the name, and I was promised a free forum. IF would be renegging on the contract. Whether that is legal or not, I would refuse to have a fee levied on me.

A blast from the past.

 Invisionfree I have no money if I did I would get IPB 2 for my Key Club site. And word of warrning when things that were free go to pay olny or mostlyyy support, the quilty etc. gos down in most cases.

 donating isnt forcing you to pay.
lets just say that if would need money to keep the service free, so they placed a temporary donate button on the site. would you donate to help IF stay free?

 If InvisionFree changed their name to something else, kept the ads on the top the way they are, and then opened up most of the add-on's and options that a regular IPB board has (including the ability to use different types of portals), then yes, I would pay a certain fee.

But - since they would still put an ad on your forum, I wouldn't expect the fee to be too high, at least in comparison to competitors.

 If there was a donate button I probably would, if I had a pay pal account but I don't. :P And even in its current state you can donate by purchasing ad removal and not actually removing the ads. :yes:

Besides, Duff once said the servers pay for themselves so I doubt we could get into a state where we rely on donations. ^_^

I know it's a rhetorical question but I can't help analysing it. :P

 Depending how much it will cost per month and as i like it how it is at the moment i don't think i'd be willing ot pay. If i had no choice and didn't pay and never will go on invisionfree again then i'd pay but depending on how much?

 I think the servers that duffman has these forums hosted costs about $200+ a month, and upwards to $300+ a month.

If you're willing to pay $165 a year, you could easily stretch that money to get yourself your own server, domain name with all the bells and whistles and save about $69.95 to get a one year liscence for IPB 2.0

You have to broaden your horizon...Invisionfree isn't the only option (if you have money)

 If It was up to me I would let invision FREE go. I would get a new board like yahoo. Not having a go it's just I am 13 and I cannot pay for this
