 As much as I like invisionfree, I wouldn't pay money for it. I'm only 13 and get about 5 bucks a month.

i think it's better to have two choice, one for payment , and one for free

I think the servers that duffman has these forums hosted costs about $200+ a month, and upwards to $300+ a month.

If you're willing to pay $165 a year, you could easily stretch that money to get yourself your own server, domain name with all the bells and whistles and save about $69.95 to get a one year liscence for IPB 2.0

You have to broaden your horizon...Invisionfree isn't the only option (if you have money)

I am pretty sure DuffMan owns the servers himself, meaning he does not have to pay the monthly fee. It probably sits in his house :angel: and he takes care of them. :rofl:

 If IF were payed, people would just buy IPB. No one wants to use a board that's making profits off of unlicensed IPBs.

Or at least I wouldn't.

 I wouldn't pay for the simple reason of exchange rates. I'm from the U.K and the internet's really american if you think about it... (COLOR= for one example! - not colour) and so most things, unless they have an exchange button thing, is in dollars. That just puts me off right away. I'm young, I can't deal with those things lol!

I don't know if i'd pay anyway... don't you pay for other one? I like this service- everyone does a good job- I really would hate it if suddenly there was a fee. Donations is a good idea though :)
