Here is proof that Capitals, Puctuation, and number make you password sequre If you have a four letter password with all lower case, no puncution or numbers then there are: 456,976 possibilites If you have a four letter password with all lowercase letter, no punctuation, but you have numbers there are: 1,679,616 possibilites If you have a four letter password with lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and numbers with no puctution there are: 14,776,336 possibilities With four letter passwords using Lower and uppercase letters, punctuation, and numbers there are: 24,010,000 possibilites If you have a four letter password with every useable key on the computer (uppercase and lowercase) there are: 78,074,896 possibilites Rember for these number to mean anything you can't use dictionary words!

What they are basically is whole sentances. Create a goofy sentence you'll remember. it's really, really secure. createagoofysentenceyoullremember look at how long that is, but it would make a great password. problem is it can get annoying.

I dont' remember the name, where it got it, how I got it (I Know i downloaded it). Dont' remember all the details of it.

Support before Beer Posts: 329 Group: Members Member #43,986 Joined: February 7, 2005	also you can open up your key chart and add alt symbols to like Ź etc this garbles your password to most causal brute forcers they have download extras sets and parameters and using these symbols increses the possibilites 10 fold I use a 30 character password with letters number capitals punctuation symbols alt symbols and my brute forcer something like that would eep the casual brute forcer working for months. most casual bruteforcers and dictionary attacks scan the following abcdefghijklmonpqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ123456789!@#$%^&*()_+;',./<>:"?{}+_ the more of these you use in a password the more secure it is adding the special symbols stops any normal script kiddie in thier tracks.
