Maybe it's an April Fools joke. But remeber what happened last year. Noone believed google was going to make a email service with 1GB of storage. No they're trying to upgrade up to 2GB of storeage. Just log on to your gmail and click on the "New Features" button. Also they will now let you write emails in rich format, but you cannot send emotions yet.

 who knows? within the last yeah yahoo went from 25 mb to 250 mb, maybe g-mail wants to go bigger also.

 Well, In know the Infinity+1 thing is a joke but like you said they might actually upgrade us to 2GBs. Now it's jumped to 1280 MB.

 logout and look at the main page, theres a counter on there showing how much space you have

thats growing and growing and will prob stop at 2Gb

 As far is I know, right now, you need a invite.
Every account gets 50, I think.
(Mine seems to stay there, even though I do give invites. Pretty weard.)
