Type about:config into the address bar and hit enter/go.

Then find the following:

network.http.pipelining

network.http.proxy.pipelining

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

And then go onto nuber 3 (of the first post).

The address bar is where you type in the address for a website.



Oh yeah, and one thing I would recommend is that if it goes slower with 30 requests, reduce it little by little until it's faster. (it worked for me).

The adress bar is the white textbox which displays the location of the site you're on (right now it should say something like "http://support.invisionfree.com/..."). In there, type "about:config" and you should get a screen with a long list of settings. Above, in the "filter" textbox, type, for example: "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to filter out the entry you want. Double click one of those items to change it's value (to true or false for instance).

 well I didn't know about this until now and just set it up myself. :D

Although I have a 10mbit connection, and pages load in a flash anyway, so hard to tell the difference. I never really looked at how long pages took to load, but since changing it I see this speed at the bottom of this board



[sarcasm] I dunno about you, but that's way too slow for me[/sarcasm] :lol:

 The page creation time is not dependant on your connection or the speed of your browser. It is dependant on the server.

 couple of things...

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

It wont go over 8... :P so you're wrong there.. if you put a number over 8, it defaults to 8

Otherwise, It works in Linux too !

 Made mine ALOT slower, takes about a year just to load a page.

Page creation time: 0.0588 seconds

And it used to be down on 0.0100

The page creation time has nothing to do with the speed of your connection or browser. It is entirely server dependent.
