 my 1.4ghz Gateway running ME can honestly smoke damn near any average new end computer. i swear the pixy fairies must have blessed the inside cuz this thing runs and has never crashed since i reinstalled and kept my baby computer clean, it starts up and shutdown faster than any computer i have ever seen, and the thing can run anything i throw at it without chopping. albeit a tid slow but not choppy. OS does not reflect hardware comparison. ME is actually faster and slightly more effective than XP mainly because it runs less processes that require less system resources. ME is also only about 2 gigs large if that. XP is around 5-6 uncompacted. plus XP has alot of random stuff to keep it running that even a technofile such as myself refuses to understand or even care about.

if tweaked properly ME can out perform XP anyday of the week. for the small group of ME supporters that still exist, they will wholeheartedly support me on this one.

wrong, it's near the lines of 2 - 3 gigs, much like that of...ME!
