 How do you all know the MODs SNs to various instant messengers... some of you are obsessed with staff members, and you hunt them day and night :arr: , but how about others... :unsure:

 The ones I know all came from IF Survivor and IFDropouts. But most of the staff I have I don't even talk too *shrug*

 I asked a few if I could add them, and they said yes. I added one for pc help/chatting (:P ), and I had another add me because of IFDO's.

 I assume you refer to instant messaging right? SN can mean other things so forgive me. :P

If you look at the bottom of my posts you see my details, you can contact me from here. Some people I invite, others just add me but those who do are only talked to with regards to IF. Any chit chat results in me blocking them because I have my details for mod issues only. If I wanted to talk to them, I'd invite them. :P
Probably shouldn't have pointed out where my details are but meh, annoy me and suffer my wrath block button. :ermm:

Man my spelling sucks tonight. :wacko:

If people want my SN to chat, they're best PMing me first. ;) I'm normally happy to oblige (unless you're a well known spammer) and it's better than adding me and assuming. ^_^

 Like Yodaminch would tell you (maybe) I only contact him (via IM if he's on) to report a topic that needs to be moved/closed. now if someone isnt' on AIM/MSN (staff wise) i use the PM system. I woudl just contact either Yoda, or phrank somtimes I think. as yoda said in the "Pinned: ATTN: Backseat Moderating (Pages 1 2 3 ...4 )

 It applies to Seth. :P It depends really, you're probably best PMing the staff member and asking. ;) Just adding them might get you blocked. :/ I hate it when random people come out of nowhere and take five minutes to tell me who they are. Then I'm like "oh...heh...blocked :r".

I'm personally fine with getting IMed from strangers so long as it's about modding. Chit chat is reserved to a selected few and most of them asked. ^_^

 You should make a new catagory in your buddy list, that gpes for all the staff, something like "Annoying IF People" or something... >_<

See, I'm pretty much the opposite of Jay.
My IM is for personal use only.
Even the people I've given permission to IM me shouldn't be talking to me about mod/support stuff or they're risking a smackdown.
If DuffMan's house is on fire and he needs to give me temporary admin access or something, maybe.
Otherwise it better be at least mostly personal with an occasional IF-related thing brought up.
Anything regarding topics needing moved or members needing suspended or whatever should be sent to my PM box at the forum and I'll attend to it when I'm not busy with something else.
