 :rofl: I meant navy-er, you know, more navy? :P You know, lots of people want a somewhat darker skin so something to match our banner would be pretty good. ^_^

 maybe the grads can be the same color as IF but I hope the white background and stuff stays cus light skins seem to be easier on the eye for most people.

 This is the support board and will remain so after the upgrade. That forum isn't associated with us, it's just a place to talk about the upgrade. Having said that, take anything said there with a pinch of salt. ;) The only reliable source of information is DuffMan, even us staffers don't have all the details.

 Well most professional looking boards inclusing this one will have a default skin of a light skin, as goes with any professional site in my opinion, also with what I've seen too. Dark skins don't look too professional, although some are very nice.

I do think the white/blue combination would look great though still, but with a little change to what it is now.

You haven't. DuffMan is yet to release any preview or pictures of it to any of us. :/ I don't think he will either, seems easier to get the whole thing over and done with rather than throwing out snap shots.

By dark skin, I'm referring to a somewhat darker skin not black or too dark but simply hoping it will be more navy and the blues in the grads. White and light blue is nice but it gives quite a few people here headaches including some staff. :/ Just a tone down is what some of us are hoping for. I do love this skin and kinda hope there's an option to use it on here, or at least a 2.0 version of it but a tone down in the bright blues and whites would be a good option for a lot of people.

IMHO The new IPB 2.0 skin is too blocky looking. IF looks so much nice with the current skin.

The if version does not look much like the real one to me.

It's not meant to. It's supposed to be different. :P If we just copied it would be a little silly, we have our own default skin, IPB has theirs, all other forum hosts have their own, etc etc. Come IF 2.0, we'll have a brand new one, hopefully more navyish like the banner if we're sticking with blue. ^_^

No, I mean the IPB 2.0 one someone made.
