For some strange reason, I can't seem to install Kubuntu. After I press enter at the boot screen (see picture), it starts to load. After a couple of seconds (about half a minute), it freezes. It just stops right there. The same thing happens on the Live cd as well. I have tried many times already. Please help. I really want to install Linux. |

I have a Dell Dimension 8400 with an Intel Pentium 4 3.40 GHz with HT CPU. I have a gig of RAM. I also have an ATI Radeon X300 (128 MB) and a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy ZS 2 sound card. |

My computer is much lower, statistics wise, than that. It worked fine for me. Try formatting that drive, then reinstalling it. |

Aha, I have a radeon, and it went wrong there as well for me at first (on Ubuntu)... I'll just have to remember what I did...  Edit: Seth got there first... However, on mine, I didn't do that, I had to enter something which I found by pressing one of the function keys...
