Just kidding actually befuddling people with big words is fun.

I have a friend that is barely over 5 feet tall, and he's taken down people that look twice his size.

I meant stronger. I have done the same. Just not twice my size, that would mean they were 12 feet tall ;)

 So, first is Insults, then big words that are more than 60 characters long, then if that dosen't work, i get a bokken and attack.

Moral:

Always bring a bokken(japanese for kendo sword thing)

 This is just silly ...if you're talking about owning someone from highschool to adulthood level, insulting them won't do anything. Usually, people at that age will gladly like to mind their own business, but if you interfere, and they don't like it, the last thing on your mind would be big words to confuse them.

If you're in highschool, or an adult (or close to being an adult), you won't last long with trying to confuse the other guy. If you do say something, you'll be met with a flury of fists and sent home with a bloody shirt and a fat lip. Try it, go up to the school bad-boy and "say" something insulting to them. They'll probably take offense and if your insult was just silly, they will just probably laugh at you. If not, then you better have a good dentist.

It might just be me with how I grew up in highschool. If you want to show superiority, you're not going to grab the nearest dictionary and say witty remarks back at them. If you want business, you take this outside and which ever has the worst injury loses.

Might work for kids in highschool but I've yet to see a successful person resort to violence without getting his ass kicked in court and losing it all.
If you dislike someone at your business you're going to beat them up rather than simply amuse yourself with witty remarks and/or confusing them? :/
Unless you're a wrestler, you can kiss your career goodbye doing that. :P

Of course, this is just my experience. I know most peeps did that in highschool but I've never seen anyone do that beyond without suffering for it otherwise at my old work there would be nothing but punchups between the staff. :lol:

Personally, I'm more a sarcastic person. I don't use my fists but nor do I bother with big words, I simply smirk and give a remark but before doing so I learn which buttons to push. ^_^ Once I know, I wont restort to actually going out of my way to bother them but rather if they cross my path I'll just use sarcasm to rid of them. It's amazing how quickly some storm off in a huff because I act as if I'm paying little to no attention. :r

If you read my post, I said, most adults will just try to go about their own business. And by that, I didn't actually mean "business" by in other words work or place of employment. But if I did dislike someone, I would keep it to myself unless of course they interferred with me in some sort (physically or any other reasons). All I know is if someone I didn't like was saying witty remarks towards me, he will get a palm full in the face. If I didn't knock back a few of his teeth, the worse that is going to happen is him going away to the bathroom and re-collecting his ego. After I smack him, I say to him "are you going to stop?" and he'll probably say yes.


and all in all, I was talking in perspective of highschool and a little bit and beyond. You don't usually see a bunch of grown men scrap at it, nor do you see them saying witty remarks. They usually think of it on their own and not let it out.
